Volvo Repair: Engine surge and excessive vibration, excessive vibration, volvo s 60

I have a 2001 Volvo S-60 and it seems like there is excessive vibration (can feel it in the gas pedal and sometimes when the car is stopped and idling), but it's intermittent. There's also some engine surge when stopped, but from reading other forums this might not be unusual. I've had the car for about 2 years and it's always had the surge issue, but the intermittent excessive vibration seems recent. I tried calling the local dealer's service department, but they didn't answer their phone (several times today). I'm looking for a repair shop in the southwest part of Phoenix to take a look at this - can you recommend a shop?

Frankie, the engine surge is most likely the throtle body. That part is under a factory recall, so I would call the dealer and make an appt.  The vibration is probably an engine mount.  I dont have any listings for a shop in Phoenix other than the dealer. Roger
