Volvo Repair: 2000 S40 Timing Belt, volvo s40, intake cam

Question
I had recently put a newer engine in my Volvo S40, and the guy (yea, I know, not a volvo mechanic...come to find out, not much of a mechanic at all) decided to change the timing belt on the new engine just because...(has 24k miles)

I had no problems with the operation when I pulled it onto and off of the trailer, and then just driving around the block once or twice. However, the first time that I decided to put the accelerator down (just to see how much power the new engine had), it immediately fouled one or more spark plugs. I had replaced the plugs, because that was not done when the new engine came in. Drove the car to AutoZone to get some codes read, and still experiencing the problem. I am assuming that one of the cams is not correctly in place, and hope that I can remedy the problem by just correctly setting the belt.

Some of the codes that I got back were as follows
P0014
P0015
P0108
P0204
P0300

If you can help me, that would be great, as I do not have time to take it to a dealer during normal business hours. Also, I am in the process of court proceedings with the "mechanic", so I am working on gathering opinions from professionals such as yourself to prove that he did not correctly install my engine.

Sorry for the novel, but thank you in advance

Answer
Luke, Im glad you read some of my past answers.  I crack myself up sometimes.  Anyway, This clown most likely has the intake cam off a bit.  The cams are spring loaded and if you dont have the marks just right, it will set codes off like crazy.  I dont know anything about PO codes.  All my equipment is  Volvo software so as far as those codes I cant help you on that.  The timing belt never should have been messed with. Its a 105k belt.  The only thing I can help you with is set the engine up with the crank mark and see what the cam marks look like.  Let me know what you see.  Roger
