Volvo Repair: Volvo door problem, solonoid, problem thanks

My 2002 S80's right rear passenger door no longer opens, from the inside or outside. It's a total mystery, and I think that the linkage came loose somehow--how do I get inside the closed door to reattach and/or correct this problem? Thanks!

Eliabeth, you cant.  A Volvo shop needs to perform this repair.  Its a a complete lock assembly Solonoid that had most likely failed.  Its not fun to take that panel off normally let alone when you have to do it with the door closed.  Leave this one to the pros.  Roger
