Volvo Repair: 2002 Volvo S60 Fan, volvo s60, 2002 volvo s60

The fan on our 2002 Volvo S60 has been running for over 2 hours. It's currently cold where we live so it's not the heat. Our battery had died and it's still running. HELP, please.

Sorry, I don't where it is on this particular car, but it sounds like you have a defective thermostatically controlled switch. You should be able to locate it by tracing the wiring back from the fan motor. You can actually test it by removing it and checking continuity cold and then again while it is submerged in boiling water. Most people just replace them.
