Volvo Repair: Mounting a used HU 803 in a V70 02, hu 803, v70

I buy and sell Volvo's in Europe. On one of the V70's I bought there was no Volvo sound system mounted. I bought a used HU 803, bought the PA-200 amp (new) and installed everything. I went to the dealer to download the software. The dealer was not able to download the software for the radio therefore the dashlights do not come on on it. The rest works fine. There is a rumour that one has to "empty" a radio on the original car before it is taken out to be mounted on another one so software can be downloaded again. If this has not been done supposedly there is a different way? Do you have any advice for me?

thanks for the ratting . but here in USA i  know that you can't do that  why do you ask me if you know it can be done  go do it who told you   go empty you radio  don't ask me anymore questions please bye now .
