Volvo Repair: 240 GL door panel/door handle, door handle, junkyard

Hello again. Forgot to mention that the front passenger door handle seems broken. When you lift it, it's loose and the door won't open. I found a replacement handle at the local junkyard. Here are my three questions:

1. How do I remove the door panel in the simplest way?

2. Once it's removed, how do I easily access the handle through the door frame?

Barry, the door panel is pretty easy.  REmove the 3 screws from the door pull.  Remove the small covers to get to them.. Remove the trim ring on the inside door opener.  Remove the door compartment.  Remove the door lock pull knob.  The panel pops off.  With the window closed you will be able to access the 2 screws that hold the door handle.  Hope this helped.  Roger
