Volvo Repair: 91 940 Turbo stalling, power stage, error codes

Roger can you get this posed so all can see what fixed my stalling problem

To my fellow 940 owners. My car was finally fixed correctly by replacing the Ignition module, Part# 0227100124. I have to tell you, it took several hours to find but I found a mech that was determined to solve my problem. Failure in this part was extremely hard to diagnose because there were no error codes that popped up during the trouble shooting phase. I hope this info may help others and save them some money on replacing parts that were still serviceable

James, Yes, that power stage is definately one that needs testing.  This automatically gets posted on the archives.  Im glad you got it fixed.  Please remember that this site is a guide and general information.  Most things can be fixed by suggestions but ultimately when a car is brought into any shop, tests are performed and acurate diagnosis is performed at that time.  Roger
