Volvo Repair: 93 Volvo 940 wagon B230F Regina sys, volvo 940 wagon, electric cooling fan

Hello Robert,
The Volvo 940 wag is overheating and the electric cooling fan is not coming
on... Is it more likely the rad. sensor for fan or the fan relay?  Where are they
located. I believe that the rad. fan sensor is in the pass side of rad. with the 2
wire leads...I do not know where the rad fan relay is located or how to test
either.
Please help. Thank you in advance.

First see if the fan is seized,just try to turn it.If that's ok disconnect the two wires from the sensor at the radiator and connect the two wires, Ignition on,fan should run.If not the relay is located on the passenger side of engine compartment,two small black relays,swap the two relays and retry the two wires together.If all the fuses are good and it still doesn't work, there must be a wiring fault.
