Volvo Repair: 1984 Volvo 240 Turbo Hi Beam Problem, check fuse, low beams

Thanks for being here to help. I am a 17 year old student of auto tech. I was given a 1984 Volvo 240 turbo, 2 door coupe that will be my first car. While the other problems I need to fix have gone well so far, I cannot get the Hi Beams to work. No voltage to the hi beam light bulbs when I click the lever. Low beams work. We can hear a clicking in some sort of relay under the hood, but can't tell what goes where. HELP PLEASE! Dad and I are going crazy.

Geoff, if you dont want that car, I will buy it from you.  I've been looking for another restoration project.  Anyway, Replace the silver relay that is clicking next to the battery area.  Most likely that relay is bad.  Im assuming the high beam bulbs are okay.  Check fuse also.  Even if it looks good, take it out and see if the ends are burned.  Roger
