Volvo Repair: volvo, dealer charges, cabin filter

Question
my s-80 is at 59k miles and the dealer said i need a 60k mile check up and it sounded expensive. what all should i have done at 60k?

Answer
Diana, 60k is a major service and they do quite a bit.  If you have a Volvo shop other than a dealer, that would be the route to go.  60 is, oil change, coolant change, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid, rotate tires, etc and various checks of the vehicle.  Its about $400 at our shop.  Not sure what the dealer charges nowadays.  Roger
