Volvo Repair: service light, volvo dealer, jiffy lube

just had my 2001 xc70 serviced at jiffy lube and don't intend to take it back to a Volvo dealer until late spring. a few days ago the "service" light - which is time/distance sensitive - popped on.  how do i turn it off again?

Mac, the 01's are a little tricky but I'll try to type it for you.  Turn key to pos 1 then hold odo reset button down.  While holding it turn key to pos 2.  Wait for service light to flash then let go of button.  If this doesnt work, get back to me and we will do another procedure.  Roger
