Volvo Repair: volvo rack, tie rod ends, nuts and bolts

Question
just had rack put in S 80 2.9 2001, 107,000miles,re built from the steering shop in san diego, after 100 miles feels like the front is loose and like the tires are going to fall off, also engine pick up is weak, feels really unsafe.
shop is closed today so I need some advice..

Bob, they must have forgotten to tighten something like the tie rod ends  or the nuts and bolts that hold the rack in.  AS far as engine pickup, they may have forgotten to reinstall a connector to the 02 sensors.  Its hard to diagnose something like this without seeing the car.  Roger
