Volvo Repair: 89 240 DL rear wheel bearing, rear wheel bearings, brake callipers

Question
I reciently purchaced a 1989 240 DL and I am replacing all the wheel bearings and break componants.  I have a good understanding in general automotive repair, but I am realistic enough to not get in over my head.  My question is how do I go about replacing the rear wheel bearings, and will I need any additional aside from what you would find in a handi-mans garage?  I also have a question as to the longevity of the brake callipers.  The car has over 130K, and I have replaced the rotors and pads, should I go ahead and replace the callipers while Im at it?  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Answer
Chris, first of all, why are you replacing the bearings?  For fun? are they making noise? or is the seal leaking?  You need a bearing puler to pull the bearing off the axle.  Volvo calipers do not go bad as often as some cars.  130k is still new.  Leave them alone until they fail.  Roger
