Volvo Repair: Volvo S80 brake rotors, volvo s80, disc brakes

Question
My wife owns a 2001 S80 which we've had since new.  82,000 miles.  We live in Oklahoma and a large portion of these miles is non-city driving.  She recently asked our dealer to inspect the brakes for remaining pad life and was told the rear rotors were warped and needed to be replaced.  We've owned many cars with front disc brakes and even 4-wheel disc and have experienced front disk warping and the associated brake pedal pulsing when braking.  We currently have no continuous, or excessive, pulsing in our S80's braking.  My question is whether the S80 rotors may be turned at all if they maintain a minimum thickness?  The dealer says they never turn volvo's rotors, only replace.  I'd appreciate your comments.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
you cant turn /cut Volvo rotors because the have very tight spec range so they usually less for around 30k.if you pads are still ok wait until they are worn out  than replace replace rotors if they are not so much below min spec  but if your pads are worn now and the rotors are low or getting low  you have to change rotors and disc together  like you say other cars vibrate pulsing brake pedal  Volvo don't have those problem with pulsing brake pedal  so much but dealer is right we don't cut rotors .
