Volvo Repair: S70 Windows, theswitch, master switch

Question
I have a 2000 S70.  Front passenger window goes down and intermittently goes up.  Replaced passenger and driver side switches at same time with known good switches.  No luck.  Using a meter on the motor plug I push passenger control down and get -12vdc.  Pull up and get 0vdc.  I used jumpers to connect the switch to the motor backwards and then pushed down control and the window goes up fine.  Question.  Is this the motor relay going bad in one direction?  Where is the relay located?  Thanks.

Answer
The relay is self contained inside the master switch.  The only thing that changes direction of current flow is the switch itself.  I would check the switches again because that is the only thing that can produce the symptom you are describing.  You may have gotten a bad switch. The drivers switch is especially simple wiring since it only goes through one switch, power and ground go into theswitch through terminals A:2 (power, blue wire) and A:1 (ground, black).  The motor wires are A:4 (green) and A:3 (blue with green tracer).
