Volvo Repair: replace sideview mirror, torx screws, torx screw

Question -
I need to replace the driver's sideview mirror assembly.  Please tell me how to remove the old assembly and the interior door panel (or anything else I need to know!) Thanx.

Jay, it would help if you told me what model you have.  Roger

Jay, remove the small cover down by the door pull.  Remove the 25 torx screw.  Remove the trim ring for the inside door handle.  remove the master switch assembly with a small screwdriver.  If you have a door panel tool, get underneath the panel and pry outwards.  If not a screwdriver will work.  Carefully liftup on the panel and dont forget to remove the speaker wires and side light.  Remove the black cover by the mirror.  Should be 25 torx screws holding the mirror in.  Follow the wire and disconnect the mirror connector.  Wire will pull up through hole.  Install in reverse order.  Roger
