Hi! Roger,
I just had my car tuned up, after a week the light "Service" came on and a week after, the light "Check Engine".  The car runs okay. Prior to these, I have been having problem removing the key from the ignition. Why is this. I want to bring the car for diagnostic check up.  Do you have any idea how much this service cost.  Sorry for the many questions.

Nena, the service light is normal to come on after 5 thousand miles.  It needs a special tool to reset the light.  The check engine light can be a number of things.  It can be as simple as a loose gas cap.  To scan the car generally runs about 40 bucks.  What and who did they service for you?  How many miles on the car?  Roger
