Volvo Repair: 1993 240 overdrive, automatic overdrive, 1993 volvo 240

Question
1993 Volvo 240 Automatic/Overdrive does not engage - Light on dash is on all the time.  What is most likely cause?  Where/How do I get to the OD relay? Have another similar 193 240 - so can exchange parts if necessary.  All help greatly  APPRECIATED.

Hi Marvin,
       I think the problem is with the overdrive relay...located behind glove box...sort of...remove screws to hold glove box...look to left on forward edge of dashboard and it will be there..just around the corner...it is small...they are found often to be white...but are different colors too...easily replaced...
