Question
The car has an oil leak. It appears to be somewhere at the join of the sump, just behind the driveshaft to the RH wheel but its hard to pinpoint. Any ideas on where it might be and how to fix? The car has done only 72000km and seems to run well.

Answer
Well first be sure that it is oil.  The water pumps there have a big tendancy to leak.  The water will usually pick up dirt on the way down and kinda look like oil.  Next likely would be cam seals.  Its all gonna be under the timing cover which is why you can't see it.  Either way, unless you feel comfortable doing a timing belt yourself you need to take it somewhere.  Once the belt is off its very easy but you cannot mess the belt up.  If it goes back on wrong you are buying a new motor for your car.
