Question
Hi i have a 2001 V70 D5. (mileage 108.000 miles)
History.
car began to smoke execssively under hard acceleration, smoke slightly, intermitently when cruising and start poorly but only when engine is warm.

Now this problem is constant and starting has deteriated.

The injectors have been tested & are ok slight bleed back only.  Any ideas ? Thanks

Answer
I wish I could help but here in the US the D5 and all diesel engines are not available.  I can tell you that all the cars that come in smoking here 99% of the time have a blown turbo leaking oil into the intake.  Only other thing we see is stupid oil related issues like the crankcase being overfull to the point it causes crankshaft interference.  Check your oil level, quality, and on the underside of your oil cap for sludge.  If your engine has a significant sludge amount then you may end up having to replace the motor.
