Volvo Repair: auto headlamps, technical service bulletins, auto headlamps

Question
99 S70.  The auto headlamp feature decided to stop working, only the parking lights work.  When you turn switch to manually turn on headlamps, dash lights go out.  Any clues?

There is a recall for the headlight switch on that car that causes the headlamps to stop working and other lights inside in some cases.  call the dealer with you VIN and see if you qualify (which you should), and then schedule an appointment.  To see the recall go to this site:
