Volvo Repair: delay acceleration, air mass, fuel system

Volvo 1990 740 automatic transmission. Engine starts OK, idle Ok. Change gear to Drive, it has delay 1-2 sec before accelerating.
Changed spark plugs - still problem.

Thomas, it depends on which fuel system you have, if its a Regina rex system, then thats pretty normal for the car to do that.  If its a bosch system then you could be having a air mass meter issue.  Check fluid in the trans just to make sure its not low.  Roger
