Volvo Repair: Volvo 240 1985 Turbo HIGH IDLE, intake manifold gasket, vacuum hoses

Hello Bilbo,

I have a 1985 volvo 240 Turbo with a idle of around 3,000 rpm when it's warm.  I have changed the intake manifold gasket, changed the spark plugs, it has a new air filter and fuel filter.  

Can you give me 3 or 4 more ideas on where to look? Thanks,

Double check the manifold....look carefully at all vacuum hoses....use new piece of 5/8 heater hose(3ft long) place one end at your ear....and carefully put other end in intake area...this works very well..many more reasons....failed press. reg?...fuel dist. is sticking..
