Volvo Repair: Heater blower motor / 1989 240, phillips head screws, inner areas

Question
I am trying to remove the blower motor on this vehicle.  I removed the passenger side of the duct to access the motor and am now trying to access the driver side of the Motor.  Any ideas?  How much more of the dash do I have to tear apart?

Answer
In a word...LOTS
Rick, this is a major job.If you have determination...you can do it.
Too much info to give you related to doing this job....here's a few items to consider...remove ALL plastic venting tubes...speedo cluster..heater control unit...leave hoses connected to switch....Be smart and put little tags on all the electrical wiring that you will later have to reinstall...the motor is secured by 3 smaller phillips head screws from the pass. side...you might have to get creative to remove the fans that live on both ends of the motor...the clips are a big pain...use smaller screwdriver...remove both front corners of console..allows easier access to inner areas...use smaller screwdriver to pry off the little clips that hold heater housing together.
I have done this job...maybe 10 or 15 times..and it never gets easier..I just do it faster.
             Good luck,
