How can I manually close an electronic sun roof on a 1992 740 wagon?

I opened the back/vent protion of the sun roof and when I push the toggle button on the dash to close it, it just clicks a couple of times and nothing happens to the sun roof.

remove the cover over the motor on the roof of the car.there is a slot on the motor with a smaller screw in the center insert a large screwdriver into the lorge slot pushing the smaller one into the motor then you can turn the motor manually.this may not work though by the sounds of it if the motor is slipping then there is a bigger problem.if it does not work it will need to be looked to be shut.
