Pontiac Repair: 06 pontiac vibe ac/heating system, pontiac vibe, motor speeds

Question
i was on a trip using my ac and it just went out on me it also made the heater not work so the whole thing does nothing the lights still come on for the ac the fuses were checked under the hood and the ones inside under the steering wheel i was wondering is there a seperate fuse for this somewhere else also when i first bought the car it was used but still under warranty anyways it made a clicking noise sometimes when i would turn the heat or air on and when i would turn it off it would still be there when this happened it wasnt making the noise though and i heard the clicking noise very lightly yesterday while i was in im just wondering if those two things are related

Answer
Hi Robin:

This can either be a bad blower motor or a resistor to the motor that is bad the resistor actually controls the motor speeds that you have selected on the dial. If the a/c button lights up then The fuse is goof for the system It's more then likely the motor or the resistor. Good luck :)
