Volvo Repair: Self repair- ABS Controller unit--and AC Hose, s70 t5, torx socket

Question
Regis, I have 2 repairs that I would like to know how difficult they are for a novice without many diagnostic devices.

First is an AC hose from the condenser to the compressor.  It is leaking and needs replacing.  The air conditioner will also need to be recharged. I took my car into Volvo in the late winter because my air conditioner  wasn't working.  They fixed the evaporator and recharged the system.  Now this. How difficult and if not where should I get the manuals/info to complete the repair?

Second is an ABS control unit that needs replacing.  My  car is a 98 S70 T5 with 203k mi.  I am also replacing the brakes and rotors which I am comfortable doing with knowledgeable friend. How difficult is the ABS unit to fix?  Should I fix it?  Where to get info?

Answer
the hose and ABS are easy to do.the hose you will need to be able to get under the car to get to the hose.the ABS you will need a special torx socket.it is a torx8 I believe.it will be a female torx socket not a male type like you see in the screwdriver type.you could try a parts store for a manual.
