Volvo Repair: 940 horn, sterring wheel, bill horn

Have a 94 940 that the horn doesn't work on. What is likely to be problem , horn or contact on steering wheel? Any way I can test?

Hello Bill,  Horn contacts 'yes' if only one side works.Sometines the actual sterring wheel contact needs to be cleaned.You have air bags so you can't DIY. Check the fuse,if OK go to horn and apply test lite to,I think its yellow wire,have someone push the horn button while you check.The ground wire on volvos is black,if you get 'current to it but not through it', the horn has failed Thank you and good hunting!  PKD
