Volvo Repair: How do remove 1993 Volvo 960 door panels?, 1993 volvo 960, differential unit

Hello I am currently going into fiberglassing the interior of my 1993 Volvo 960 and would like to know how to properly remove the door panels, thank you.

Also, how do I know if I have IRS (independant rear suspension)

How do I know if I have an Factory Internal Amp?

remove red light cover on end of panel,remove 3 clips under bottom of panel you pry them out with a small screwdriver,remove the switches by prying the switch panel up with a small screwdriver,remove the small plastic clip in the interior handle area,remove the lock knob,remove the speaker grill it should slide towrds the door jamb area then the panel should pull out then lift up off the top of the door.

look under the car to see if it has a solid axle like an old american car or if it has 2 seperate axle shaft coming out a differential unit.

you would need to look for the amp under the drivers side of the dashboard.
