Volvo Repair: Replace brake disc Volvo S70, disc rotor, rear rotors

Question
I don't think it was rust stopping me from removing the disc.  I could actually pull the disc away about 1/4 inch.  And, then it would sort of snap back into position.  I could also rotate the axle by hand while the disc remained stationary.  This is what made me think that something else needed to be done other than banging the disc off with force.

Can you provide instructions for replacing the front and rear rotors and pads on the volvo S70 1999.  WHen I attempted the rear brakes, I was unable to remove the disc after removing the 2 bolts supporting the brake caliper and the 1 bolt that goes through the disc rotor.  It felt like something else needed to be done.  What am I missing?  I found a volvo 850 manual that mentioned loosing the emergency brake so I tried that too but still was unsuccessful

Answer -
hit it with a hammer it is being held on by rust usually.you sound like you had everything off you should have.it is the same procedure for the front rotors.the 850 manual would be the same as far as the brakes go.

Answer
then the parking brake shoes are still holding it on then.the shoes will nee to be released through the hole in the rotor .looking in this hole with it at 12 oclock you will see inside a star type wheel with many notches.you need to turn this to loosen the shoes.usualy just pulling and twisting the rotor will get them to come off.they just have to come off almost perfectly straight to come off this way.
