Volvo Repair: gas cap door, plastic hinge, plastic rivets

I have a 2001 S60. The door covering the gas cap has come off. How do I reattach it. Nothing appears broken.

First, I'm sorry for the delay getting to your question.  I have been orlando for the past few days for XC90 V8 training and have been unable to take emails.

There is a black plastic hinge holding it on.  It is held onto the car with plastic rivets that can only be used once, and held on the the door with clips on the hinge.  If it came off the hinge but the hinge is still attached to the car then you may be able to just clip it back on.  If the hinge came off the car then it will definitly have to be replaced.  If the clips are broken then it will have to be replaced.  If you have to replace it, the dealership can show you how to reattach it.  It is hard to explain without showing.  Hope that helps.
