Volvo Repair: 89 760 gle creaking noise, wheel bearing, pristine shape

Question
I have an 89 760 gle v6 (B280).
Recently it started making a specific noise at a specific time.
Occasionally upon startup, I hear a rattling coming from the
right rear (somwhere around the wheel or exhaust).
This then becomes a creaking sound when first accelerating but
goes away when reaching 30-40 km//h.  After about 5 mins or
less, it goes away completely. It never affects performance or
drivability. I'm worried that it has something to do with the
multi-link rear suspension (big$$$$$), but I'm hopeful it is
minor (i.e. wheel bearing or brake or just some weird rattle!)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also I'm thinking of replacing the timing chain system. The
original one is still in pristine shape after 290,000 kms but I am
better safe than sorry. How can I make sure the new one will be
of the same quality and last as long? This car is truly great and I
would like to keep it for another 200,000 kms or more.
Again, any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thanx

Answer
it sounds like possibly some type of exhaust rattle since it does it on start up without vehicle moving.there may be 2 noises.possible worn bushing in rear.

as for the timing chain buy volvo parts this is about the best chance of it lasting as the original did.
