Volvo Repair: door handle repair, left turn signal, top screws

Question
Hi,
My driver's side front door handle on my 1989 240 Volvo wagon came off.  I don't think anything is broken, maybe just rusted out screws.  Can you tell me how to remove the door panel and re-install the handle?
Also, the left turn signal light on the dash is not working, can I replace the bulb?
Thank you very much,
Jenny

Answer
yes the bulb is replaceable.

door panel.remove trim around door handle,it just prys off.lift window switch out of the arm reast. they just pry up.then remove the round cover type plugs you see on the door arm rest.remove the 2 screws of the arm rest then it will swing up at the raer prt and then when up at about 11 oclock it will pull out of door.then turn the 3 clips for the door pocket 90 degress then they will come out.then you will need to tap the door pocket up on each side to release it from the top screws then the pocket will come off.then remove lock knob.then the door panel should pull away from the door then lift it up to release it at the top.

the handle you will see a linkage rod inside this fits onto the hook end of the handle it has a round piece screwed onto the link rod.then attach the spring to the handle from the link rod.fit this into the hook part then bolt the handle in place.
