Volvo Repair: ignition switch, volvo 760, turbo wagon

The car is a 1990 Volvo 760 Turbo wagon. Automatic.

Question -
the switch has lock and the key will not turn the switch
Need to remove and replace but cannot get the switch out. ANy secret on the switch

Answer -
Don't have much of anything to tell you unless you can tell me what year/model it is.  Just let me know for what car and I'll let you know the in and out of the ignition switch (may take a day to print up r & r procedure once i know what car to look up).  Sorry.  Get back with me later and I'll be glad to help.

You got back to me at a bad time.  I'm moving this next week across the country.  I'm starting at a new dealership.  Today was my last day so i have no resources to consult until i start my next job.  My first day will be Feb 3.  I'll try to get back to you then if you like, you may try asking the other volvo expert in the mean time.
