Volvo Repair: 1998 V70 Roof Rack, winter weight oil, v70 t5

Question
Rejis,
These questions are not all mechaniclly related but thought you might know.
I just purchased a 1998 V70 T5 and would like to install a roof rack for Bikes. Would Volvo Load Bars be a better choice than the factory "euro rails"? If I choose the factory rails, is my "non roof rack" vehicle compatable?
I was also wondering what you thought about the Mobil 1 0w40 for the T5 for the Michigan winter season.
Thanks. Scott

Answer
I believe  there are 2 ways this can be done .one is a set of load bars that go across the front and rear door areas.when the doors are open there are spots for cross bars to fit.then the bike holder would fit to this.the other way is euro rails can be installed on this car and then volvo load bars can be attached thenthe bike rack would go to this.you can do it either way. I think the first option would be less costly.

as for the oil I suppose this would be ok.here in florida we do not worry much about winter weight oil.
