Volvo Repair: S80 gearbox, volvo s80 t6, gambia west africa

Hi Regis.
We are a small garage in The Gambia, West Africa, and we have a Volvo S80 T6 with a faulty automatic gearbox (no reverse). We want to send the gearbox to UK for overhaul, but what is the best way to get the gearbox out, and are there any special measures neede with the computer?

explaining the procedure would be way too difficult.I would try to find a repair manual to help guide you through this process.there is a special tool for supporting the engine on a transmission jack,but you can do it without it.nothing special needs done to the computer.
