Volvo Repair: Volvo S60 01 2.4T Head Lights Alignment, volvo s60, click sound

Question
Mr. Easler,

The head lights of my car are misaligned and causing an unconfortable situation to the driver in front.
How can I align them down?

I believe I found the alignment point right in the back of the head light assy. It can be reached easily through an access hole on top of the headlight. The problem is that when turning it to either sides, it makes a click sound and the alignment remains the same. Considering tha is the right place, is there any lock I need to loose?

Thanks

Answer
I would really have to look at them to tell exactly how they are.I am trying to picture them in my head .I have not adjusted many so it does not stick out in my head.I can usually tell where they are by looking at them.there should be a white 1/4 inch plastic type nut or a spot with a hole in it for aphilips screwdriver to adjust the lights.the pwoblem may be the light sis broken.sometimes if someone changes the bulb and puts the bulb in then tries to plug it in this pushes the inside reflector loose.
