Volvo Repair: Car alarm etc., volvo 940, hurricane charley

Hi Regis,
Hope you can sort this out for me, I recently bought a Volvo 940 turbo Estate 1993 vintage,my problem is this, the car has been fitted with a Sparkrite alarm and immobiliser system which seems to have a mind of its own,it frequently refuses to start and I have generally to wait at least half an hour before it does,I would like to remove the system or at least render it useless,could you tell me how to go about this? I can disable the alarm easily enough, however this starter delay is proving more difficult, the system appears to have been professionally fitted, wiring leads to the bank of fuses and relays, however I cannot identify any particular  relay for this gadget or indeed what I should do to dissconnect from here and would be very grateful for your advice

First, sorry for late response.I am in SW Florida and if you do not know we were just hit by  Hurricane Charley Friday and I just got power 30 minutes ago.

I would have to see the system and how they wired it.you could just look for similar color wires and cut the alarm out of the circuit and attach wires of the same color to each other.
