Volvo Repair: S-40 Front Brakes, volvo s 40, squeak

Hello,

I have a 2000 Volvo S-40 and I just replaced the front brakes.  I had the rotors turned and I replaced the pads with Bendix pads.  Everything is working fine except for the squeak that I hear while driving.  I know it is comming from the brakes because when I apply the brakes it goes away.  I lubricated all the metal to metal contact points and it solved the problem for about 60 miles of driving and then it is back.  Please Help

if they were not volvo original equipment pads I would throw them away and buy genuine pads.I have seen many problems with aftermarket pads squeaking.they may be the same maker of the pads volvo uses but it does not mean they are built to the same specifications.
