Volvo Repair: flywheel timing 1993 240, pings, clock

Question
I recently changed the rear main seal on my 93 240 and aparently put the flywheel on incorrectly. the engine pings and occasionally dies on stop. also harder to start than before.
what is the procedure to properly align the flywheel with the sensor. thank you
James

Answer
sorry forgot to check yesterday.set the engien to top dead center for cylinder 1.then there are 2 large type rivets on the flywheel about 4 inches in from the toothed edge.these 2 rivets will go at about 2 and 4 O'clock.they say the lower one will be at 15 degrees below horizontal.hope this helps
