Volvo Repair: 1994 volvo 850 turbo, losing coolant, expansion tank

Question
my car has  been losing coolant from the expansion tank cap. i replaced the cap and changed the coolant, yet it continues. i think the new cap might be bad. It seems to come up through the cap as it is coming from the thermostat housing line to the tank.
any help would been welcome

Answer
Hello,
if you replaced it newly, it may not have problem.
Please check if there is any fluid leakage or not, you should find it where it is.
If there is any fluid leakage, and if the cap is without problem, and you see "boiling water, coming up water" it means your cylinder head has problem, it should be removed and rectified.
