Volvo Repair: How to replace passenger mirror glass, passenger mirror, mirror glass

Hello,
   I have a 1990 Volvo 240 with manual remote side view mirrors. The kids were playing balland the glass got broken. Can you please tell me how to replace it. This is on the passenger side of the car

2 possibilities.one is under the bottom side of mirror is a slit inside this slit is a piece with notches inside the mirror this piece will need to be pried in one direction you will have to try both ways this will then let the mirror come out.if this is not it then you will need to pull the mirror glass forward as much as possible and look for the tabs that hold it to the mirror motor.it will be tabbed at each corner a small screwdriver inserted to pry the tabs up while pulling mirror out will help.
