Volvo Repair: Over Heating, coolant temperature sensor, head gasket leak

I have a 1992 240 Wagon that wants to stall on warm days.  The guage goes slightly into the red and if I stop and turn the car off, I can not restart the car until it cools down.  This happens when the outside temperature is above 90 degrees F.  I have replaced the thermostat, tightened all the belts, flushed the system and had the speed sensor replaced.  I don't think the speed sensor needed to be replaced, but the dealer in Richmond VA did it anyway.  Now I am still experiencing the same problem (it never cleared up) oh yeah, I also replace the fan clutch assembly to ensure it was operating properly.  I am at a loss except to buy a bigger radiator?  or maybe move the transmission cooling lines to an additional cooler.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  There is no car that beats a volvo.  Hands down.
Answer -
when does it get hot in stop and go traffic or when driving at higher speeds for extended periods of time?if it is in traffic it may be just that the outside of the radiator is clogged with dirt and bugs .if so clean the outside fins with a pressure washer.if it is at higher speeds it may be a slight head gasket leak.as for the stalling it could be many things.it will really need to be looked at when it will not start to be able to fualt trace the fuel anfd ignition systems.

Question #2
It happens under both conditions.  The radiator is clear of any obstructions and that is why I thought maybe I needed to replace the radiator with a larger capacity one or add an additional transmission cooler.  If it were not a fuel injected car, I would swear it was a vapor lock situation.  I will investigate the spark at the next stalling event and let you know.

Answer
since it has overheated it could have affected the engine coolant temperature sensor for the fuel system.without being able to see it I can not say for sure whay it is getting hot.usually they overheat under the same conditions not all conditions.in traffic usually means low air flow.at highway driving is usually poor circulation or head gasket.is it definately getting hot.these cars also had problems with a circuit board for the guage which would make the guage read irratic.it would show running hot when it is not .sorry I could not help more.
