Volvo Repair: 91 240 overheating, fan clutch, condensor

Question
Well my roomates 240 started to overheat int raffic.  I replaced the thermostat because it was quick and easy.  Upon ispecting the old thermostat it was broken, so replacing it WAS a good idea.  Same day the roommate comes back from driving in traffic and it continued to overheat.  I then figured it was the fan clutch, it had some play and overheated in traffic.  Replaced that and now it still runs WARM, not overheating but right up to the red and that doesnt seem right.  The electric fan in front of the condensor doesnt come on when the AC is on so that could be it right? Is that for aditional cooling as well as AC duty? Thanks in advance. Any info will be great!

Answer
this is for additional cooling when the A/C is on based on high side pressure of the A/C.I would start by cleaning the outside of the radiator and condensor with a pressure hose.what happens is bugs and dirt clog the outside fins of the condensor and radiator and cause low air flow in traffic.
