Volvo Repair: 1998 Volvo X-Country passenger mirror replacement, replacement mirror glass, mirror case

Question
the glass portion (only) of the passenger-side review mirror is broken. I have the replacement mirror/glass but no clue on how to open the shell of the mirror case to replace this. The only apparent entry point I can find is a small pin hole on the bottom side of the shell, right up next to the car body. . . however, there is no allen-head screw, or anything I can sense in this small hole. Help!!

Answer
the mirror just clips on.look at the new mirror there are pins and small tabs on the outer edge of the mirror glass.these tabs hold the mirror on.turn the glass all the way in at the end near the car then you will need to gently pry outward the side farthest from the car body with something so you can use a small screwdriver to pry up on these tabs so the mirror will come off.sounds harder than it is.
