Volvo Repair: 1986 electric drivers seat, volvo 760, test light

Question
I have 2 1986 Volvo 760 turbo wagons. The driver's electic seats don't work. I have been told the problem is usually the seat's activator switch. I acquired two used seats, plus the two already in the cars, tried them all, but, none of them work. I'm ready to just stick a manual seat in the cars. Should I give up or try to buy a used switch or is there something you would suggest that I haven't tried? I have found power with my tester at the switch and at the relay that's under the bottom of the seat.

Frustrated,
Raymond Hillary
Thank you.

Answer
the problem with using used switches you do not know if they are any good.without being ble to see them and fault ttrace them with a test light I can not say for sure what the problem is.there should be a power and ground to the switch.if there is power and gound to the seat switch then I would get a new switch or you could try another used one.
