QuestionI JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR SO I DONT HAVE ANY
HISTORY.THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS,MY ABS LIGHT
CAME ON AND NOW I CAN'T GET THE CAR OUT OF PARK
AND PUT IT IN DRIVE.I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO PRESS ON THE BRAKE BEFORE IT IS PUT INTO GEAR.
THIS IS NOT HOW I OPERATED MY 240.ALSO MY HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT SUDDENLY WHILE I WAS DRIVING
AFTER HAVING THE TURN SIGNAL COVER REPLACED. COULD THIS BE A SHORT SOMEWHERE?PLEASE COULD YOU HELP ME FIND SOME ANSWERS.THANK YOU
Answerthe brake pedal does need to be pressed before it will come out of park.if the ABS light comes on when started then it is an electrical problem if it comes on after the car starts to move then it is a sensor problem.
it could be a short
there are no easy answers to these questions they will need to be looked at for a proper diagnosis.
