Buick/Olds: D-52 Calipers, mount ears, proper tool

Question
I have a '95 Road Master and am trying to install new bushings and sleeves in the front caliper mount ears, but I have no idea how this is possible.  Many people I've asked say 'just push them in with your fingers', they have no clue.  My guess is there must be some special tool to get this done.

I'd really appreciate any help you could provide
Thankyou, Eric Kieffer

Answer
Hey Eric

I hear ya...people have no clue. But I do know that you're right about the proper tool. You'll need to "borrow" a shim guide. This tool is used to compress the sleeves ever so slightly and push them into the holes where they belong.

If you decide to buy the tool, you'll want to make sure you're going to use it a bit or lend it out because it's a bit pricey, but I know that some stores and even some dealerships will lend these tools out. (with a deposit, of course)

If you need more info, let me know.
