AND IT WAS GOOD FOR A LONG TIME BUT THIS TIME IT DOESN,T SEEM TO WORK--YET.
IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY TIME MY OIL CHANGE IS DUE AND I GET THE BELL,THIS THING STARTS AND TAKES A WHILE TO QUIT--MAYBE MY IMAGINATION!!

HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME----THANKS GENE-NEW CASTLE,PA

Answer
The clicking that you are hearing is a relay turning on and off. There are alot of things that could be causing this. A bad relay, low alternator output voltage wiring problems, bad grounds, Body control module(BCM) going out, etc.
The best thing you could probably do would be to take it in to an Olds dealer and have it diagnosed.
Sorry I cant give you more help on this problem but the electrical system on that car is one of the most complicated ones that there are.
