"Service Ride Control" info lite on 94 STS. The ALDL has 12 pins. 1. Is the sequence top row: FEDCBA then, bottom row: GHJKLM ? 2. Do you ground C to get the codes? 3. What are the codes for this (northstar) model, pls? Thanks!

ANSWER: To get codes:
1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them and the codes will display on the fuel data center.
3. Each code will display CURRENT or HISTORY and will stop at PCM.
4. Turn ignition OFF.

I get "code S044 hist" and "code S062 hist".
Am also not familiar with how do get rid of stored codes.

AnswerS044 = lift drive signal fault.
S062 = Left rear position sensor fault in the suspension system.
FIRST, CLEAR the codes via:
Perform the steps in my previous response and When you reach step # 3 and see PCM on the screen, Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM DATA?
Continue to press and release the LO button until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?
Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM CLEAR CODES. Wait 3 seconds and then turn OFF the ignition switch.
This will erase the codes and should put out the message.
You can recheck for codes by performing steps 1 thru 4.
